    Have you ever had the desire to know how your bike works? Have you ever wondered how to true your wheels? Well now you have the chance to learn!  The class includes tearing your bike to the frame and rebuilding it back to it's glory days. You will learn brake and derailuer setting, wheel truing, bearing adjustments, proper torque settings of your parts, how to set your shock for proper sag and much more. Students will need to bring a bike to repair and their full attention. This overhaul class is on four consecutive Tuesdays from 7:00PM TO 9:00PM starting November 25th. If demand is high we will offer a Thursday night class starting December 4th.

    Cost is $200 for all four nights and class size is limited to 4 people.

    Meet at Barry's Bikes on Sundays at 3 for some trail riding action. This ride is open to riders of ALL skill levels. The ride will begin and end at Barry's Bikes. Barry's motto is "no rider left behind," so be sure to check it out. Don't let the spandex scare you!

  • Saturday, October 4, 2008 - 10:00am

    Come on out to the 1st annual Indian Hills Fat Tire Festival.  First 50 to sign up at Barry's Bikes get a free supper on the 4th.  Bring the whole family and enjoy the scenery.  Condos, a lodge and cabins are available, plus camp sites and rvhookups, all at a 10 percent discount.  Indian Hills has a convenience store to get most goods except off-sale.

     

    First ride goes out around 10 in the morning, and Saturday afternoon there'll be a beginners bike handling seminar where you'll learn the basics of off road shifting and braking.  Evening trail riding, dust off your lights.

     

    Road ride on Sunday morning.  Get home, clean up, back to the grind.

    This is a easy road bike ride in which MTB bikes are also welcome. This ride is open to beginner and intermediate riders also and every one in between or above. The ride will begin and end a Barry's Bikes. And remember Barry's motto "No rider left behind", make sure and stop by no matter your skill level.
